WHO: the 310 Bible study and people that we invite.
WHAT: a BBQ with food and sports
WHEN: Saturday October 14, 2006 from ~10 AM – 3 PM
WHERE: 1835 Stoner Ave Los Angeles, CA. 90025 310-479-7200
PURPOSE: to ultimately reach people for the Gospel through building relationships with them. In Colossians 4:3, Paul the apostle asks the church to pray for him “that God will open up to us a door for the word.” In a very real sense, this is my vision for the BBQ. This is an opportunity and a door for the word of God to reach our unbelieving friends.
HOW YOU CAN HELP:
- Please pray that this event would bring into our lives some of our co-workers and nonchristian friends. Pray that we would be faithful to share with them the hope that we have in Christ.
- Please e-mail me the following items:
- Whether or not you’re coming. If you ARE coming, please let me know how many people to expect (ie yourself + # friends). I need this information ASAP (even if it’s just an estimate) so that I can plan out how much food to buy.
- Whether or not you’re interested in helping out.
THANKS!!!

This marks the first day of the rest of our Softball playing lives. This year’s World Series will be as fun and exciting as ever. I’ve been going over the film from last years games, and with the returning talent from last year and our new additions, we are assured to have our names etched into history as the Foundry World Series Champions 2006! We play for the love of the game and to hang out with each other, not the championship…it’s just the bonus!!!
Okay, we have three…maybe four weeks to get into game day shape! If you would like to contribute to team 310 please send me an e-mail letting me know that you want to play (girls, don’t be shy) so we can begin to put a roster together. We will have practice at various times this next month, along with scrimmages and multiple extra curricular activities such as batting cages, lifting weights and watching the MLB playoffs.
