CANCELLED: celebrate!

BE ADVISED THAT TONIGHT WILL NO LONGER BE A GOOD NIGHT TO CELEBRATE AT THE MIRANDA’S.

I know that we are saddened that we will be unable to celebrate Roberto and Deborah’s anniversary with them tonight. But we rejoice in the faithfulness and love the Miranda’s have for our Lord Jesus Christ and the Chirstlike example they are in their lives and marriage. We love you Roberto and Deborah.

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.” 2 Timothy 4:7-8

chains for CHRIST

Meet Rev. David Gray, a member of GCC, church choir member/musician, LAUSD teacher and prisoner at Corcoran State Prison.  I’ve had the awesome honor of writing to him though I have never met him in person, and he has been such an encouragement.  He has an amazing testimony of faith, trusting solely in God’s sovereignty in all respects.  Through his divine trial, he has been able to minister to those that are there in prison with him (fellow prisoners and staff) by leading Bible studies, putting on concerts and just being a solid example of Christ to everyone there (Chains for Christ Ministry).  Job’s words “Though He slay me, I will trust in Him” really do apply to David.  You can check out his blog as well as his MySpaceMore importantly, you can send him a letter/card.  He has said that letters are gold for the prisoners, and I know that he would be overwhelmingly blessed by you should you choose to write him.

Please contact Vanessa for more information!
