The Cup and the Glory

For 2008, the 310 Bible study has been given a theme…an anthem, if you will. It is: Being Heavenly Minded. Now, I know many of you may have forgotten this year’s theme…(I often forget myself) and it’s not something we visit upon every week, but God is pleased when we are united in mind and spirit (Phil 2:2, 1 Cor 1:20) and it’s beneficial for us to think upon this theme together. So, to that end, we’re going to try something different, something new. For the remainder of this year, we’re going to feature an article from a 310er of how they are learning to be heaven-minded, what God has been teaching them, and how they are applying God’s Word in their life.

~Ted D. & Erick G.

What are you doing to be Heavenly Minded?  Do you have a testimony? We would like to know.  Please send us your comments, questions, or perhaps you wish to know more about our bible study in West Los Angeles.  We are a Christian Bible Study that meets every week in West Los Angeles.  The 310 is part of a larger young adult ministry that worships on Sundays at Grace Community Church in the valley.

How do I submit a commentary after reading the testimonies?

We encourage everyone to submit a comment or question. At the bottom of each testimony, you will see a message that reads “Leave a reply”; below you should see a box, where you can enter text.  Leave your comments or questions and hit the submit button.  You can also log in your name or indicate “anonymous” just like a blog.

    Hi everyone,

I hope you are well. I finally found the 310 website - it only took 12 months :)

On the topic of heaven, I wanted to suggest a remarkable book that Pastor MacArthur wrote: “Because the Time is Near”. It is an exceptional, summary expository on Revelation.

“Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear, and who keep what is written in it, for the time is near.”

    Revelation 1:3

    God bless,

    Christian
